Teaching Textbooks
Homeschooling can be a bit overwhelming, especially if you are juggling a large family. Math is not my strength and so early on I was on a hunt to figure out how I would successfully accomplish math. Once my children reach the 4th grade I transition them to Teaching Textbooks. I absolutely love the curriculum not only because it means I am off the hook for teaching math but because the set up is amazing. Each lesson begins with a lecture with on screen visuals throughout the lecture, next is practice problems and then the student is on to the lesson. If the student does not get a problem correct the curriculum will take the student on a step by step explanation of how the problem is done. A feature that I also love is the automated grading!!! Teaching Textbooks is very helpful if you run into issues and provide tech's that will walk you through issues or problems that may come up.
This is how my son celebrated the completion of Pre-Algebra.
