Panda Pickagram a Timberdoodle Review

The Panda Pickagram puzzle is a 3D puzzle that improves cognitive skills, visual memory, concentration, spatial orientation, and fine motor skills. There are four stages to the design of a Pickagram: point, line, shape, and form. There are different levels of difficulty. When using Pickagram, you are truly limited only by your imagination. "Pickagram is the world's first magnetized 3D art puzzle that uses the golden ratio to inspire its iconic shape and proportions, bringing a whole new dimension to the ancient Tangram puzzle." The 7 magnet blocks of Pickagram can be used to make more than 100 3D figures. This puzzle is part of Timberdoodles 2025 2nd-grade curriculum kit. In spite of the fact that Pickagram is part of the 2nd grade curriculum, individuals of all ages will find it engaging and challenging.

An accompanying deck of cards features 3D pictures. You must figure out how to arrange the pieces in order to create each figure. There are instructions included in the cardboard box that holds the puzzle.

How do I get started playing? The first step is to place the number stickers on each piece. The next step is to make the figures by following the guide. Alternatively, you can create your own figures.

I would change a couple of things about Pickagram. The box in which the pieces are packaged is very flimsy and is not going to last over time. I think a drawstring bag would be a better option for storing the pieces. I would also like some of the deck cards to have numbers on them so the pieces can be placed more easily. A number of examples of figures with numbers can be found on the instruction sheet. In the current version, there are four levels. On the first level, the pieces are shown in color. White pieces are shown on the second level. In the third level, the pieces are shown as partial connected dots. The final level consists only of dots.

The levels of difficulty in a Pickagram puzzle are structured to gradually increase in complexity. Beginners start with simpler designs that focus on basic shapes and forms, allowing them to build foundational skills. As players advance, they encounter more intricate patterns that challenge their problem-solving abilities and spatial reasoning.

Visitors can also enjoy unique entertainment options. Additionally, attendees can watch skills such as blacksmithing, glassblowing, and weaving, providing a hands-on experience of the Renaissance era. There are plenty of activities designed specifically for children. There are rides and activities specifically geared for children. 

ABC Find and Fit Puzzle

My 2 year old grandson absolutely loved this puzzle. He like that the letters were "squishy" which made it easier for him to get the letters in their places.
