CrossTimber ~ A Review

Your Amazing Name - Personalized Adventures for EVERY name! is a personalized video that takes yours child's name, artwork, picture, and a personalized letter that the parents write to create an endearing 28 minute video for your child. The video is delivered digitally in HD video via a secure server. Your child will discover the origin and meaning of their name. Your child's name is spoken throughout the video over twenty times and is written out in both print and cursive on objects as well as spelled out. They will hear about what God has to say about their name. They will hear many scriptures referencing names and how special they are. This personalized video is from CrossTimbers - Name Meaning Gifts.

The video starts out on a farm. A piece of paper floats into a house and then into a room. This room as many items with your child's name on them. You are introduced to Benjamin, a talking pencil that will be the main character throughout the video. Benjamin takes the piece of paper with your child's artwork and makes it into a spaceship and flies into outer space to seek out the meaning of your child's name. The stars talk about their names and how God has named them all and that they are written in God's book. A verse is displayed on the moon, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Psalm 19:1.

The giraffe is the drawing that I e-mailed in. My daughter drew it.

This suitcase is just one example of the many items throughout the video
that will have your child's name written on it.

This is Benjamin, or Ben for short, the pencil. He will be the one that
will take your child on their adventure to discover the meaning of their name.

Ben creates a rocket ship out of your child's artwork.

While in outer space Ben goes past the moon which displays a Bible verse.

Ben writes out your child's name in cursive.

Benjamin, the pencil, parachutes back to earth. He then meets Mr. Owl. Mr. Owl talks about his family and it is quite hilarious. He then finds a scroll and tells your child the origin of their name and interesting information about the names origin. Mr. Owl does not know the meaning of the name so Ben goes on to search for the meaning.

Ben introduces your child to Mr. Owl.

Mr. Owl tells your child the origin of their name.

Ben goes back to the farm and meets a black sheep named, Rescued. The sheep's name used to be lost but was found by its shepherd. Rescued talked about Isaiah 43 which says, "Noow, this is what the Lord says, the one who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: Don't be afraid, for I will protect you, I call you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I am with you; when you pass through the streams, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not harm you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Deliverer." Mr Owl then shows up with a letter. This is a letter that you as the parents are asked to write. This is a special letter explaining why you chose your child's name. Mr. Owl then talks about   how God knows who you are and who you are meant to be and sites Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in your mother's womb I chose you. Before you were born I see you apart." and Jeremiah 29:11 which says, "For I know what I have planned for you, says the Lord, I have plan to prosper you, not to harm you, I have plans to give you a future filled with hope."

Next, Ben meets with Rescued, the black sheep.

Mr. Owl shows up and has a very special letter addressed to your child.

The letter is read aloud to your child. This is the letter that you as the
parent wrote about how you chose their name.

This is the name plaque that CrossTimber has created for your child.
It has the meaning of your child's name. You can go to their website and
order one.

At the end of the video your child will see a picture of themselves along with
their name written out in cursive.

They also provided PDF printable worksheets which was really fun. Here are a couple of the worksheets that we could print out.

This video concept is definitely unique. It would make a great gift for the child in your life. My child was 11-years-old and I would say that she was definitely on the older side for this video. In my opinion, this video would be most appealing for ages 3 through maybe 9 years of age. With that said, my daughter did enjoy some aspects of the video but it definitely seems geared for younger children. This would make a great Christmas gift. My daughter really liked the name plaque at the end of the video. Be sure to check out what my other crew members had to say about this fun Amazing Name Personalized Adventure.
