Homeschooling when not at HOME

Homeschooling can be quite a challenge when you have kiddos with chronic health conditions. Sometimes our house seems more like a pharmacy/hospital ward than an actual home. Some weeks we spend more time in hospitals and doctor's offices than we do at home. The wonderful advantage of homeschooling is that you can take your work where ever you go. My kiddos have learned to be flexible with where schooling takes place. If they are not feeling well we focus on one or two subjects and let the rest slid. Eventually everything gets done but it is on our timeframe and at their individual pace.
