Super Teacher Worksheets

I had the opportunity to review the Individual Membership for Super Teacher Worksheets. This amazing website offers an extensive collection of worksheets in a wide variety of subjects matters.

As educators, we sometimes find that our students need extra practice in order to master specific skills. Other times, we need worksheets to help fill in the gap where our curriculum lacks. Or maybe, like my children, your child just like doing worksheets. Sounds strange, right? In their words, "Worksheets are fun". I still haven't figured out how worksheets are different than their normal schoolwork, but I am not questioning or complaining.

I was extremely impressed by the amount and variety of worksheets available. Normally, I search the internet when I am looking for a specific concept that needs extra attention. Since having the, Super Teacher Worksheets Account, I have pretty much been able to find exactly what I need. This, as you can imagine, has saved me time. The site has a very helpful section titled, My File Cabinet, where you can collect and store worksheets that you want to have instant access to the next time you need them. There is no need to search for newly added content because the site has a section for newly added material. The site also lets you create your own, one-of-a-kind, worksheets to fit your own unique needs with the Worksheet Generators.

There is a FOUR LETTER WORD in our house that always requires extra help and that four letter word is, MATH!!! Math is not a subject that comes easily for most of my children. Right now I am in the midst of the dreaded, MULTIPLICATION FACTS MEMORIZATION CHALLENGE. I still haven't decided who is more traumatized by the experience, my child or me. Anyways, I was eternally grateful when I first entered the site and right on the home page I saw this!

I was definitely singing the Hallelujah chorus!!! It was like they knew what I needed. Or maybe, I am not alone in this struggle. Instead of repetitive multiplication times worksheets, Super Teacher Worksheets offers many fun ways to accomplish the arduous task of memorizing the multiplication facts.

You will find amazing educational resources in the following subjects:
  • Math
  • Reading & Writing
  • Phonics & Early Literacy
  • Handwriting
  • Grammar
  • Spellings Lists & Worksheets
  • Science
  • Social Studies
  • Nutrition
  • Holiday
  • Puzzles & Brain Teasers
  • Teacher Helpers
  • Pre-K and Kindergarten
  • Make Your Own Worksheets
Another added feature that many may overlook, but I greatly appreciate, is the Membership Reminder at the top of the Super Teacher Worksheets homepage that gives your membership expiration date. I don't know about you, but I have memberships to so many things, both online and out in the community, that it is sometimes next to impossible to remember what expires when.

Who used it
I utilized this site for my 2nd and 4th grader children. Like I already stated, I used the multiplication worksheets for my 4th grader. My 4th grader also enjoyed the, Writing Story Pictures, and the, Writing Prompt worksheets.

For Spelling my 4th grader has to choose from a list of activities to complete. One of the activity choices is making a word search. I was able to create a word search in a couple of minutes. There were multiple choices during the generator process to tailor the level of difficulty for your child's level of learning. Super Teacher Worksheets has just made my life so much easier!!!

Fall will soon be upon us so I decided to get some fun Fall activities started. My daughter's has so much fun making scarecrows.

This is just a sampling of how we have used Super Teacher Worksheets. When my kiddos get bored we go to the site and see what they think would be "fun" to do and print it out.

Overall Thoughts
Super Teacher Worksheets is a great resource for parents and teachers alike. I would highly recommend this website. I found so many helpful worksheets, both academic and for fun.
