Nature

This morning we found a family of mushrooms in our yard. With gloves we picked them and brought them inside to look at them more closely. I found this very informative site so that we could learn a bit more about mushrooms. We took care to not handle them with bare hands. We also laid them on parchment paper and thoroughly cleaned the counter after we were done looking and dissecting.

    Wow! Fun things to pick and learn about right in our front yards. I should do the same as we have lots of plans in our neighborhood. Thanks for sharing the idea.
