TOP THAT! is a new game from Blue Orange. Players will race to match the Magic Hat Stack! before their opponents. Become a master magician as you challenge your dexterous skills. While having fun you will sharpen your fine motor skills, hone in on your ability to focus and problem solve, and repeatedly challenge your swiftness and speed. The game is for ages 6 and over and for 2-4 players.
Players use the stack of challenge cards, and like a magician will dazzle their opponents by being the first to call out "Top That!" by completing the challenge correctly. How does a player complete a challenge? As each card is placed face up the players will follow these rules:
- Objects printed in color on the card must be visible on the stack being built
- Objects printed in grew must be hidden somewhere INSIDE the stack being built
- Objects left off any given card are set aside and are not included in the stack
My daughters, ages 8 and 10, played Top That! and had a magical time. There was definitely some very healthy competition going on. My 10 year old was able to complete the challenges much faster than her sister. This game is unquestionably a game that requires concentration and focus. Fine motor skills and visual perception are sharpened.
Each player uses some or all of the following items to complete each challenge:
- Black Top Hat
- Red Cup
- Orange Cube
- Green Coin
- White Rabbit
My 10 year old said, "This is a really fun game. It doesn't take long to play. After awhile you get faster and faster at completing the challenges."
My 8 year old said, "I think that I would have more fun if I was playing with someone my age. My sister could get the challenges done faster than me. I like the game. It doesn't have too many rules and is easy to learn to play."
Our family has enjoyed playing many Blue Orange games. I invite you to go and check out the wide variety of educational and fun games at blueorangegames.com! Also, check out all of the new games in 2016. Blue Orange has won many awards.
I received this game in exchange for my honest opinions.
