What Do You Do With A Tail Like This?

  • This is a excellent book for younger children. We all know that children love to ask question and are quite inquisitive about the world around them. In this book your child will discover how animals use their noses, ears, tails, eyes, mouths, and feet in amazing ways.

Your child will read questions such as:
  1. What do you do with a nose like this?
  2. What do you do with ears like these?
  3. What do you do with a tail like this?

On the following pages your child will discover what animal these noses belong to and what makes each nose unique to that particular animal.

At the end of the book your child will read more in depth information on each of the animals in the book and their unique qualities.

Did you know that "If you're an archerfish, you catch insects by shooting them down with a stream of water".

The artwork in this book is spectacular. Each animal or animal part is done in vibrant cut-paper collages. The artwork itself would definitely be worthy of an art lesson in and of itself.

This book is a Caldecott Honor Book. There are several other book by the same author that are just a amazing as this one.
