Netflix for Education

Two of my high school age kiddos are working on their American History credit. While I am requiring them to read a sizable stack of literature, both fiction and non-fiction, I came across so wonderful supplements on Netflix. These documentaries are great. They make history come alive visually. I am having both of my kiddos watch and take notes on each episode.

The Sixties episodes include:
  1. Television Comes of Age
  2. The World on the Brink
  3. The Assassination of President Kennedy
  4. The War in Vietnam
  5. A Long March to Freedom
  6. The British Invasion
  7. The Space Race
  8. 1968
  9. The Times they are A-Changin
  10. Sex, Drugs & Rock & Roll

The Seventies Episodes include:
  1. Television Gets Real
  2. The United States vs. Richard Nixon
  3. Peace with Honor
  4. Crimes and Cults
  5. The State of the Union is Not Good
  6. Battle of the Sexes
  7. Terrorism at Home and Abroad
  8. What's Goin' On
